Conservation work in East Africa — Zuraiya Afrika Adventures

OUR PLEDGE

Safari Should Leave Africa
Better Than We Found It

WHY IT MATTERS

Tourism is East Africa's most powerful conservation tool — when done right

The communities that live alongside wildlife are its greatest protectors. When a family's livelihood depends on a healthy ecosystem, every mother becomes a conservationist. That is what Zuraiya is built around.

Every journey includes a contribution to the communities and conservation projects that make that journey possible. It is not a surcharge. It is simply how we do business.

OUR COMMITMENTS

Four Pillars of Responsible Travel

01

Anti-Poaching Support

A percentage of every Zuraiya booking goes directly to anti-poaching units operating in Kenya and Uganda. We support ranger salaries, equipment, and community informant networks.

02

Community Education

We fund two primary schools in the Masai Mara buffer zone and a ranger training programme in Bwindi. Education is the longest-lasting form of conservation.

03

Carbon Responsibility

Every Zuraiya itinerary is assessed for its carbon footprint. We offset 120% of journey emissions through verified reforestation projects in East Africa.

04

Wildlife Corridors

We actively support wildlife corridor projects that allow animal movement between protected areas — critical for genetic diversity and long-term species survival.
